Data collected
- About the boat: name, class, sail number, flag, dimensions, insurance and measurement documents.
- About skippers and crew: surname, first name, nationality, contact details, licence number, emergency contact.
- During the event: daily attendance, drinks and items handed out.
Where the data comes from
Some contact details come from yacht directories and regatta lists. They are used solely to invite you to the TPR, and every message includes an unsubscribe link.
Purposes
Running the regatta: registrations, payments, safety at sea, berth allocation, logistics and event communications.
Legal basis
Your consent, the performance of your registration and, for invitations, the organiser's legitimate interest.
Recipients
The organising team, race committee, jury, harbour master's office and volunteers, each only for what concerns them. Your data is never sold or transferred.
Hosting
Data is hosted in France by o2switch.
Retention period
Data is kept until the end of the 2027 edition and its financial closing. It is kept until the next edition only if you have agreed to this. Invitation data is deleted after 3 years without a reply.
Your rights
You may request access to your data, its correction, deletion or portability, withdraw your consent or object to invitations by writing to geiss92@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
